Biography
BIO
Brion James was born Brion Howard James in Redlands, California, in 1945. His parents owned and operated a local movie theatre and James spent his childhood helping his parents as a projectionist.
He graduated from San Diego State University in Theatre Arts and, after a stint in the armed services, made his feature film debut in 1975, at the age of 30, for Columbia Pictures.
He appeared in more than 90 feature films during his career.
James was married to one-time actress Maxine James until their divorce in 1996.
He died of a heart attack in Malibu, California, in 1999, at the age of 54.
