Biography

BIO

June Lang was born Winifred June Vlasek in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1917.   She was raised in Hollywood.

Lang debuted for Fox Film in 1931 at the age of 14.   Her film career spanned 15 years and more than 35 feature films, including Wee Willie Winkie (1937) with Shirley Temple.   Her last film was released in 1947.

Lang married three times:

  1. Victor Orsatti, movie agent, 1937-1938, divorced.   They broke-up after only 6 weeks of marriage.
  2. Johnny Roselli, mobster, 1939-1943, divorced.   Her husband was indicted for racketeering during their marriage and the bad publicity put a halt to her movie career.
