Biography

BIO

Colleen Camp was born Colleen Celeste Camp in San Francisco, California, in 1953.   Her father was the actor Wilson Camp (1913-1988).   The family moved to the San Fernando Valley and she graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in English.

She began acting in television commercials before appearing as a guest actor in a television series in 1973 at the age of 20.   She also made her film debut that year for Twentieth Century Fox.

As a singer she appeared on the Billboard Country Chart at #72 with One Day Since Yesterday in 1982 and has been a recording artist on several movie soundtracks.

Camp has appeared in more than 90 motion pictures.

She also began working behind the camera as a producer and has helped shepherd 18 films to the screen since 1984.

Camp was married to the film and television producer John Goldwyn between 1986 and 2001.   The couple raised one child before divorcing.
