Biography
BIO
Edgar Norton was born in London, England, in 1868.
He made his Broadway debut in 1902 at the age of 34. Norton appeared in 20 productions through 1923.
He appeared in his first film, a silent short-reel, in 1916, for Golden Eagle Features. Thereafter, Norton was a busy character actor, appearing in more than 115 feature films through 1948.
He died of heart trouble in Los Angeles, in 1953, at the age of 84.
