Biography

BIO

George Dzundza was born in Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany in 1945.   His parents, who were Ukrainian and Polish, were used as forced labor in a German factory during World War II.   After the end of the war, Dzundza spent time in displaced persons camps as well as Amsterdam, Netherlands before his family immigrated to the United States.   He was raised in New York City.

Dzundza made his Broadway debut, at the age of 29, in 1974 and has appeared in 3 productions through 1976.

He appeared in his first feature film in 1973 and has appeared in more than 25 motion pictures to date.   Most of his work has been in television.

Dzundza married Mary Jo Vermeulen in 1980 and the couple raised 3 children.
