Biography

BIO

Gibb McLaughlin was born George Gibb McLaughlin in Sunderland, County Durham, England, in 1884.

He began his stage career in regional theatre and summer stock.

McLaughlin was first seen in silent film, at the age of 37, in a bit part for Screenplays Productions in 1921.    A busy character actor, he appeared in more than 120 feature films through 1959.

He died in London, England, in 1960, at the age of 75.
