Biography

BIO

Shirley Stoler, born in New York City, in 1929, was one of four children.

She began her stage career off-off-Broadway and debuted on Broadway only briefly in 1981.

Stoler made her television debut in 1956, at the age of 27, but did not appear in her first film until 1969.   She continued to appear in more than 25 features through 1997.

She died of a heart attack in New York City, in 1999, at the age of 69.
