Biography
BIO
Tempe Pigott was born in London, England, in 1884.
She made one Broadway appearance in 1918 at the age of 34.
Pigott began her film career in a silent feature for Famous Players-Lasky in 1921. She appeared in 14 silent features through the 1920s and easily transitioned to sound in the 1930s.
By the 1940s, Pigott was only playing bit parts.
After more than 70 full-length motion pictures, her last film was released in 1951.
Pigott died in Los Angeles, in 1962, at the age of 78.
